Do you find yourself too busy to make dinner so you stop at your favorite take-out window and grab whatever looks good at the moment? You can’t wait to cook something because you’re starving and you don’t know what’s in the house to eat or cook. You don’t feel like shopping, so it’s just easier to stop and grab.

It sure beats takeout and fast-food. Some personal chefs will come to your home, prepare your food, put the food in personal chef containers and store them in your refrigerator. However, if you don’t like the idea of someone playing in your kitchen you can do what my friend Karen does.
Karen hired a personal chef to provide her with 5 dinners a week. She gives her chef the containers to use for the following week while picking up her dinners for that week. She gets some great meals that she would not make herself and it costs about the same as spending the money on takeout.
Check out the yellow pages for “personal chef” or do what my friend did. She found a woman who loves to cook and had some time on her hands. They made a deal and it has worked out so well that the woman has a few other clients to cook for now. It’s a win-win situation for all involved.
